Wrocław Review

Rynek 30 Hostel Wrocław

Rynek 30 Hostel Wrocław is, so far, the only cozy place to stay in the city that I can recommend. It has a friendly atmosphere, strong bathroom setup, and one room option with a very practical bed layout.

What Rynek 30 Hostel Wrocław is like

Staff

I have stayed there a few times, and the staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Thank you guys - that kind of attitude really helps make the place feel warmer and easier to return to.

Toilets & showers

Each level has its own showers and toilets, and all of them are gender-separated.

The shower cabins are on one side with frosted glass doors, while the sinks and mirrors are on the other side. From my point of view, it is a strong and well-organized setup.

Security & safety

The whole building has a lot of cameras, which adds a good sense of control and safety.

Access to both the hostel and the rooms is managed through code panels, so the entry system feels simple and secure.

Room policy

There are two male-only 8-bed rooms available.

On booking platforms, you will usually find both a 33 m² and a 35 m² option, which is useful because the internal layout actually makes a real difference.

Recommended room option

My preferred room is listed as “Single Bed in Male Dormitory Room with Shared Bathroom”, not the “Bunk Bed in Male Dormitory Room” option.

The reason is simple: it has a much more strategic bed organization - 4 beds on one side and 4 on the other.

Price policy

Prices are definitely in the middle-high range, especially during the summer season.

It is not the cheapest stay in town, but for the right room layout and the overall coziness, it can still be worth it.

General room setup

2 male-only 8-bed rooms
33 / 35 m² room options
8 beds per room

Both male-only rooms are assigned automatically, so there is no way to choose your preferred bed in advance.

The good news is that in the better room, most bed options are still good anyway because the layout gives a solid room overview from nearly everywhere.

Best bed choices

Preferred 8-bed room

Best choice

My favorite room is the one sold as “Single Bed in Male Dormitory Room with Shared Bathroom.”

Its layout is much stronger: 4 beds on one side and 4 on the other.

In practice, that means from any bed you can usually see 4 beds at a time, which makes the room feel much more balanced and strategically comfortable.

Even though beds are assigned automatically, this room is still the safer and better overall choice.

Second 8-bed room

Weaker layout

The second male-only room is noticeably less practical in how the beds are arranged.

On one bed you may have a view of 4 beds, while on another you may only see 2. On 2 of the beds, the view is even partially limited.

So while it is still usable, the experience depends much more on which exact bed you get assigned.

That is why the first room remains my clear recommendation.

Final verdict

Why I recommend it

Rynek 30 Hostel Wrocław stands out because it combines a cozy feeling, genuinely friendly staff, strong bathroom setup, and one especially practical male dorm layout that makes the whole stay noticeably better. It is not a cheap hostel, but for me it is still the only cozy place in Wrocław that I can recommend so far.
